Jamie McMillan

Jamie McMillan is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the trades industry, having founded Jamie McMillan | Made In the Trades in 2012 and serving as an ironworker and welder with Iron Workers International since 2002. McMillan has also contributed to KickAss Careers, a grassroots initiative aimed at promoting underrepresented occupations, for which engagement as an ironworker, boilermaker, and keynote speaker was undertaken from 2012 to 2022. Additionally, McMillan co-founded the Workplace Equality (WE) Awareness Ribbon initiative in 2014 and held a position as a boilermaker with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers until late 2022. Educational qualifications include an Ironworker Apprenticeship, a Personal Support Worker certificate from Northern College, and consistent dedication to encouraging youth to pursue careers that shape the future.
