Jessica Norman

Jessica Norman is currently the Chief Legal Officer at Independence Realty Trust. Jessica has held this position since December 2016. Prior to that, they were the Vice President - Corporate Counsel at RAIT Financial Trust from November 2013 to December 2016. Jessica began their career as an Associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP from January 2011 to November 2013. There, they represented clients in a variety of commercial real estate matters including leasing and the acquisition and disposition of real property. Jessica then moved to Klehr Harrison as part of their Finance and Real Estate Group in April 2008 and stayed there until January 2011. After that, they joined Dechert LLP as part of their Finance and Real Estate Group in May 2004 and remained there until February 2008.

Jessica Norman has a MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, a J.D. from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law, and a BS in Business from the University of Pittsburgh. Jessica also has a degree in Business from the International Management Institute and attended Wyomissing for their education.

They work with Farrell Ender - President, Jim Sebra - CFO, and Ella Neyland - COO. Their manager is Scott Schaeffer, Chairman & CEO.
