Laney Tucker

Laney Tucker is currently working as the Vice President & Senior Counsel at Irvine Company since March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Real Estate Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from May 2020 to February 2023, and as a Real Estate Associate at Allen Matkins from September 2019 to April 2020. Laney also has experience as a Banking, Finance & Securities Associate at Jones Day from October 2017 to August 2019. Laney started their career as a Summer Associate at JONES DAY® in May 2016. Laney has also worked as a Judicial Intern at U.S. District Court in July 2015 and as a Jumpstart Summer Associate at K&L Gates in July 2015. Laney's previous experience includes positions as a Summer Associate at Balch & Bingham LLP from May 2015 to June 2015, as a North American Language & Culture Assistant at the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture & Sports from September 2013 to June 2014, and as a Global Access to Information Initiative Intern at The Carter Center from January 2013 to May 2013.

Laney Tucker completed their education with a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International/Global Studies from Emory University in 2013. Laney also attended the Emory University - Goizueta Business School in 2012 for a summer program called the Summer Business Institute. In 2011, Laney achieved a Superior Level Graduate certificate from Universidad de Salamanca, where they studied Spanish Grammar, History, and Literature.
