Irvine Unified School District
Hayley Thomas is a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher at Irvine Unified School District, with experience since August 2019. Recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2022, Hayley has also taken on leadership roles such as Science Specialist, Assessment Team Lead, EdTech Mentor, and PLC Facilitator Coach. Previous experience includes serving as Summer Camp Director at Experium Science, where coordination of science-based summer courses for K-5 students occurred, and as a Long Term Substitute Teacher within the Irvine Unified School District. Hayley holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching with a focus on Science from Chapman University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Biology.
