Megan Hannen serves as the Arts Education Coordinator for Irvine Unified School District since July 2023, focusing on enhancing educational capacity for equitable access to the arts. Previously, Megan held roles in educational administration and program management at Los Angeles Unified School District and has been the Elementary School Principal at Saddleback Valley Unified School District since July 2019. With a career dating back to June 2005 at Los Angeles Unified School District, Megan has contributed as a K-12 Arts Specialist in Visual Arts, managing the Itinerant Elementary Visual Art Program and engaging in teacher evaluation, professional development, and arts advocacy, along with experience as a Secondary Visual Art Teacher. Megan's academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and Education Credential from California State University, Chico, as well as credentials in Tier 1 Administration and a Master’s Degree in Urban Education and Leadership from California State University-Dominguez Hills, supplemented by a Certificate in Studio Teaching from the California Department of Labor.
