Irving ISD
Amaris Bravo has a long and diverse work experience in the education sector. Amaris started their career in 2000 at Irving Independent School District as a Classroom Teacher for 2nd-3rd grade. Amaris then took on the role of ARI/AMI Interventionist for 3rd-5th grade from 2005-2006. In 2008, they became a Classroom Teacher for 2nd-4th grade. Amaris later transitioned to an Academic Specialist role from 2012-2013. From 2013-2022, they served as an Assistant Principal before being promoted to School Principal in July 2022.
Amaris Bravo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Teaching from the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon. Amaris subsequently pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from The University of Texas at Arlington, completing it between 2009 and 2011.
