Joe Russo M.Sc. CISSP

Joe Russo has over 20 years of experience in the IT and security field. Joe is currently the Vice President of IT & Security at ISAAC Instruments since January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Manager of Systems Management at CN from January to December 2019. Joe also held the position of Director of Service Delivery and Support at Telecon from May 2017 to December 2018. Before that, Joe was the Director of Managed Services & Infrastructure at Syntax from August 2012 to May 2017. Joe also worked at McKesson Canada as the Manager of Support Services from April 2007 to August 2012 and at Itergy as the Manager of Support Services from November 2006 to April 2007. In addition, they served as the Deputy Head of Client and Windows Infrastructure Services at the Bank for International Settlements from July 2002 to August 2006 and as the Head of IT at Morgan Stanley from 1998 to July 2002. Overall, Joe's experience spans various industries and includes roles in management and leadership positions.

Joe Russo holds a Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technology & Management from Sheffield Hallam University. Joe completed this program from 2004 to 2007. In 2015 to 2017, Joe pursued further education at McGill University, where they obtained a Mini MBA in Executive Education. Additionally, in December 2020, they earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
