Laurien Ukurikiyimfura

Laurien Ukurikiyimfura is an accomplished IT Audit Lead currently employed at the National Bank of Canada since September 2024, with a significant track record in IT audit and risk management. As President of ISACA Rwanda Chapter-in-Formation since February 2017, Laurien has demonstrated leadership in the professional auditing community. Previous roles include Senior Compliance and IT Risk Advisor at Loto-Québec, Auditor at TASNEEF-RINA Business Assurance, and Senior Systems Audit Manager at Bank of Kigali Plc, where Laurien played a vital role in strategic formulations and audit team leadership. Experience also encompasses a background in government auditing with the Office of the Auditor General - SAI Rwanda, and an internship as a developer at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. Laurien holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Rwanda and completed an A0 in Mathematics and Physics at Lycee de Kigali.
