James Butts, also known as Jim, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. James (Jim) began their career as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, where they worked as a small arms repairman and managed valuable weapons and equipment. After leaving the military, James worked as a Laborer/Welder at Wilson Trailer Company, where they participated in building grain and heavy equipment trailers. James (Jim) then transitioned to being a Residential Counselor at Boys and Girls Home and Family Services, Inc., where they worked with juvenile delinquents in a locked residential treatment facility.

In 1998, James enrolled at Western Iowa Tech Community College as a student. James (Jim) later joined the Fremont Police Department in 1999, initially as a Patrol Officer and eventually becoming a School Resource Officer. During their time at the police department, James took on various roles and responsibilities, including being part of the National School Resource Officer Association, Patrol, SWAT Team, Bike Patrol, Gang Task Force, Mental Health Crisis Training, Investigations, Traffic Control, Accident Investigations, and Mentoring.

In 2014, James ventured into the health and wellness industry, joining Isagenix as a Health and Wellness Director. James (Jim) utilized their personal weight loss and health journey to empower and assist others in achieving their own health goals. James is passionate about helping people and believes in the power of leading a healthy lifestyle.
