Javen Swanson

Javen Swanson currently serves as the Donor Engagement Director for ISAIAH, focusing on building relationships with major donors to advance racial and economic justice through community-centric fundraising. Previously, Javen held the position of Associate Pastor at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, where strong relationships with congregants were cultivated to enhance engagement in social justice initiatives. Experience also includes serving as Interim Faith Work Director for the National LGBTQ Task Force, overseeing a stakeholder review and strategy development among national faith leaders. As Associate Director of Organizing for Faith at OutFront Minnesota, Javen led a coalition of over 350 clergy and trained more than 2,500 individuals in faith-informed persuasive conversations about marriage. Educational credentials include a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a minor in Music from Gustavus Adolphus College.
