Andrea Makris

Andrea Makris is a business development manager and consultant with over five years of experience working in the corporate and non-profit sectors. Andrea is currently a business development manager for membership at ISCA, and has previously worked as a partnerships and business development consultant for First Innovators, a start-up that promotes First Nations economic development in Australia. Andrea has also worked as a relationship manager for partnerships at the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain, where they were responsible for strategic management of sustainable and transformational corporate partnerships, and was a founding member of the BGGS Aboriginal Strategy Working Group. In their previous role as sponsor activations manager for the Sydney Festival, Andrea was responsible for activating and managing sponsorships for the festival.

Andrea Makris has a Masters of Business Administration from Deakin University, a Grad Cert in Arts & Entertainment Management from Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from University of Technology Sydney. Andrea also has certification from the Institute of Managers and Leaders Australia and New Zealand as an Affiliate Member and from the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) as an Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAP).
