Matthew Brennan

Head of Sustainability at Transurban, Matthew brings over twenty-five years’ of experience in corporate responsibility and sustainability, within Australia and overseas, to the ISCA Board. Most of this experience has been in infrastructure – covering transport, water and power and across both the public and private sectors. Matthew has a detailed understanding of the current key sustainability opportunities and challenges being faced by infrastructure organisations in Australia and North America. He has firsthand experience in unlocking the benefits of adopting a strong sustainability agenda, and leveraging good sustainability performance on a project(s) to transform the overall sustainability of an organisation and vice-versa.

His vision is to champion the Sustainable Development Goals in the sector and share the lessons learnt globally to inspire action and transformation.
