R. Gonzalo Parra

R. Gonzalo Parra currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and ISCB 3DSig COSI Co-chair at the International Society for Computational Biology and is an Established Researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Parra has held various leadership roles within the ISCB Student Council, including Board of Directors Representative, Vice Chair, and Executive Team Secretary. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at EMBL and the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, where research focused on bioinformatics and protein domain analysis. Parra also has a background in academia, having worked as a Teaching Assistant and held leadership positions in student organizations. R. Gonzalo Parra earned a Doctor's Degree from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a Licenciatura in Bioinformatics from Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos.
