Zainab El Ouafi

Zainab El Ouafi is a dedicated professional in the field of biotechnology and computational biology, currently serving as Secretary at the International Society for Computational Biology since June 2022. Previous experience includes a Project Leader role at MaReVa/NGSB, where a bioprocess using Aspergillus niger for textile waste valorization was developed and recognized in the EcoStart program. Zainab also contributed to drug design and molecular docking projects at MedBiotech, along with the development of an RT-LAMP COVID-19 diagnostic kit. Additional roles encompass interpretation at the OTAM conference, certification work for H3ABioNet, and various internships involving biostatistics and docking tool comparisons. Zainab's educational background includes ongoing PhD studies at Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences and multiple degrees in healthcare and biotechnology from esteemed institutions in Morocco.
