Rico Pratama Putra has extensive experience in sustainability and carbon certification auditing, serving as an Internal Auditor at International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC System GmbH) since May 2013 and as an Auditor for the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) since September 2011 and 2012, respectively. Previously, Rico worked at Musim Mas Group Plantations in the Audit & Certifications section, focusing on RSPO, ISPO, and ISCC training, auditing, and greenhouse gas mitigation. With a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Management of Oil Palm Plantations from Institut Pertanian Stiper and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Science at the University of Indonesia, Rico combines academic knowledge with practical field experience.

ISCC Works Towards a Sustainable World ISCC’s mission is to protect forests, high-carbon stock lands, and biodiversity, enable waste utilisation, and increase traceability. We believe that sustainable supply chains are crucial to fight the most severe impacts of the climate crisis. Since greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are major contributors to climate change, we also consider the identification and reduction of GHG emissions as an important part of our work. Our vision is a world without deforestation and a truly circular economy in which we stop producing waste in the first place and instead create circular products and regenerate nature. Sustainable agriculture that increases biodiversity and creates healthy ecosystems is part of this vision as well as a resilient economic system which ends the consumption of finite resources.
