Kevin Taufner

Kevin Taufner has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Kevin'scareer began in 1996, working as a Senior Management Consultant at New Resources Corporation/Carlson. In this role, they were responsible for various duties including project management, contract design/negotiation, application infrastructure/architecture, system administration, system and network application development, and database administration.

Following this, in 2001, Taufner joined Kohl's Department Stores, Inc. as a Web Infrastructure Architect. Kevin'sresponsibilities included web sphere architecture, network engineering, Sun Solaris and AIX system administration and architecture, as well as Java/JSP/Shell scripting and development.

From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Contractor/DBA at SBC/Ameritech, where they focused on database analysis, design, and administration for Oracle 8i/9i. Kevin also handled application-level design and administration, utilizing both Sun Solaris and Hewlett-Packard HP/UX platforms.

In 2006, Taufner became a Contractor/DBA at Assurant Health before transitioning to Sentry Insurance in 2007 as a Senior Oracle DBA. At Sentry Insurance, they were responsible for Oracle database administration.

In 2009, Taufner joined the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) as a Senior Oracle Architect. Kevin served in this role until 2010, when they joined ISCorp as a Senior Systems Architect. At ISCorp, their responsibilities included network design, application architecture, server architecture and engineering, database infrastructure design and engineering, project management, integrated dev-ops, web infrastructure design and engineering, and more.

Throughout their career, Taufner has demonstrated a breadth of expertise in various areas such as system administration, application architecture, database administration, and project management.
