Senior Fellow & Coordinator, Asean Studies Centre And Climate Change In SEA Programme at ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute (ISEAS)

Sharon Seah serves as a Senior Fellow and Coordinator at the ASEAN Studies Centre and Climate Change in Southeast Asia program at the ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute since May 2020. Previously, Sharon was a Governing Board Member at the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for Sustainability from May 2021 to May 2023. Past roles include Associate Director at the Centre for International Law, NUS, and Deputy Director at the National Environment Agency. Sharon's experience in diplomacy includes positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore, where roles spanned from Assistant Director in Counter Proliferation and International Security to Country Officer for North America and Southeast Asian nations. Initial career experience involved project coordination at the National Arts Council of Singapore. Sharon holds a Master of Laws in Public and International Law from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Sociology from the National University of Singapore.
