David Chun

David Chun serves as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President at Montclair State University, leading digital transformation and operational excellence for a campus with 24,000 students. With extensive experience in higher education, Chun has held senior technology leadership positions at Sonoma State University and Hamline University, focusing on technology strategy and execution in academic environments. Additionally, Chun has provided IT auditing services at Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings and modernized the technology operations at Benihana. Prior roles include Vice President of Technology at SunGard and Technical Editor for various Microsoft Press publications. Chun holds a BA in Political Economy from the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and completed Executive Education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
