Maurício Ohtani's work experience includes various roles in well-known companies. Maurício began their career at IBM in 1990 as a CAD/CAM Specialist. Maurício later joined Hewlett-Packard Brasil as an Account Manager in 1995. In 2001, they joined Gartner, where they held multiple positions, including Account Executive, Area Sales Manager, and Area Vice-President. At Gartner, they were responsible for strategic direction, sales management, and leadership. In 2018, Maurício became a Partner at TGT Consult, a position they still hold. In 2017, they also became a Distinguished Analyst at TGT/ISG. In 2019, they took on the role of ISG Provider Lens Research Analyst and Lead Author for Studies in Brazil and Latin America at ISG (Information Services Group).
Maurício Ohtani completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from BSP - Business School Sao Paulo in 1998-1999. Prior to this, they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Factory Automation from USP - Politecnica in 1987-1988.
