Hemang Desai

Hemang Desai has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role being the Chief Human Resources Officer at Ishan Technologies starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Success Coach & HR Advisor at TRILEDGE Advisory & Coaching for Transformation (TACT) from 2015 to the present. From 2015 to 2021, Hemang served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Bankai Group. Hemang also held the position of Global Head- Corporate Human Resources at Bankai Group from 2014 to 2015. Before joining Bankai Group, Hemang worked as the Assistant Vice President - Corporate HR at Reliance Industries Limited from 2013 to 2014. Their previous roles include positions at DOSHION VEOLIA WATER SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, GSPC Group, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd, and Hindustan Oil Exploration Company.

Hemang Desai, the CHRO of Ishan Technologies, has a diverse educational background. In 2020, they completed a Certificate Course on "New LABOUR CODES" from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, which focused on the new labour laws introduced by the Government of India. In 2009, they attended the Indian School of Business and pursued a degree in Strategic Talent Management, specializing in Strategic Human Resources Management. Hemang also holds a PG Diploma in Psychological Counseling from the Institute of Psychotherapy and Mental Sciences (IPMS), Mumbai, which they completed in 2007. In 1997, they completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, with a specialization in Social Work. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Psychology from the same university, which they started in 2019. Additionally, they hold a PG Diploma in Training & Development from the Indian Society of Training & Development (ISTD), New Delhi.
