Lina Morales

Lina Morales has extensive experience in the field of engineering, specifically in physical design/layout. Lina has been working as a Layout Engineer at iSine, Inc. since 2021, where they primarily use Silvaco Expert and Guardian tools, and has recently acquired skills in Cadence Virtuoso with Modgen. Lina has a strong passion for tasks such as DRC (Design Rule Check) and LVS (Layout versus Schematic).

Prior to their current position, Lina worked as a Layout Engineer at Innotech Systems Inc, Boston from 1999 to 2007.

Before that, they served as an Applications Engineer at Millipore from 1996 to 1998, and as a Process Engineer at Separation Technologies, Inc. from 1994 to 1996.

Lina also has experience as a Research Engineer at Ceramem from 1991 to 1993, and as a Sr. Process Engineer at ITT Semiconductors from 1988 to 1990.

Additionally, they worked as an R&D Sr. Process Engineer at SMSC and as a Sr. Process Engineer at Standard Microsystems Corporation from 1984 to 1988.

Lina Morales completed their education in Materials Science and Engineering. Lina obtained their Bachelor of Science (SB) degree in this field from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1978 to 1982. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT as well, completing it from 1982 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, Lina Morales also obtained an Inbound Certification from HubSpot in January 2016.
