Uros Petrovic

Uro L. is a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities since July 2022, specializing in alternative data alpha. Previously, Uro served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, focusing on revenue-maximizing auctions, with research accepted at AISTATS 2022. Uro co-led the Smith Investment Fund as Co-President, overseeing systematic strategy research. Experience includes two software engineering internships at Facebook, concentrating on assistant question answering and civic integrity, as well as a quantitative research internship at Millennium Management LLC, where the focus was on systematic VIX and options strategy research. Uro holds a degree from the University of Maryland and graduated from Montgomery Blair High School's Math, Science, and Computer Science Magnet program.
