Shahin Ashraf MBE is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in humanitarian advocacy and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Warwick and the Head of Global Advocacy at Islamic Relief Worldwide, Shahin Ashraf demonstrates expertise in women's rights, climate change, and refugee issues. As the Deputy Leader of the Solihull Green Party, Shahin Ashraf holds a Council Member position focusing on children's education and governance. Shahin Ashraf also serves as a Board Member of Arts Council England and previously chaired the Board of Trustees at ICVA, overseeing strategic management and promoting diversity and inclusion. Shahin Ashraf has been recognized for impactful work across various regions including the USA, Bosnia, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, particularly concerning gender-based violence and humanitarian responses.
