Ty Hintz

Ty Hintz is an experienced Project Manager and Design Engineer at Island Energy Services, LLC, since November 2016, overseeing projects at the Hawaii Refinery following its acquisition from Chevron. Previously, Ty served as Design Drafting Lead at Chevron from June 2013 to November 2016, specializing in piping design and administration of AutoCAD and CADWorx. From March 2009 to June 2013, Ty worked as a Piping Designer at CVR Energy, Inc., focusing on the design of piping plans and adhering to ASME standards. Earlier in the career, Ty was involved in piping design and 3-D laser scanning at CH2Mhill from April 2004 to February 2009. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Management Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman, completed in 1999.
