Jenny Schaeffer

Jenny Schaeffer is an experienced leader in food bank operations and program management, currently serving as Chief Programs & Network Officer at Island Harvest Food Bank since February 2024. Previously, Jenny held the position of Vice President of Programs at Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano from October 2021 to February 2024. Prior roles include Senior Director of Operations, Director of Programs and Services, and Senior Manager of Purchasing and Procurement at Food Bank of South Jersey from May 2016 to October 2021, as well as Senior Manager at Philabundance from February 2014 to May 2016. Jenny started the career as Assistant Regional Manager at Rise Against Hunger from February 2012 to January 2014. Jenny Schaeffer earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from West Chester University of PA between 2010 and 2012.
