Joe Barry

Joe Barry is a seasoned professional in the field of development and fundraising, currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at Island Harvest Food Bank since February 2022. Prior to this role, Joe held the position of Vice President of Donor Relations and Engagement at the Community Development Corporation of Long Island from May 2021 to February 2022. Joe’s extensive experience includes serving as Director of Development for both the College of Engineering and Applied Science and the College of Business at Stony Brook University from June 2013 to May 2021, as well as Director of Fundraising at The INN from March 2009 to June 2013. Earlier career roles include Senior Consultant at The Resource Group Inc. and CCS from September 2000 to March 2009 and 1995 to 2000, respectively. Joe Barry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Dayton, attained in 1995.
