Cindy Trytten

Cindy Trytten has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare and research field. Cindy started their career as a Clinical Research Associate at Chembiomed in 1988 and later became the Coordinator of Regulatory Affairs. In 1992, they joined the British Columbia Transplant Society as the Coordinator of the Clinical Trial Program. Cindy then worked as the Vice President at Syreon Corporation for over 12 years, from 1995 to 2007. Cindy then served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Can-Med Clinical Research from 2007 to 2012. After that, they worked as a Consultant at the BC Clinical Research Infrastructure Network for a year and at the Vancouver Island Health Authority, where they held the position of Director of Research. Cindy'svaried roles and extensive experience make Cindy Trytten a versatile and knowledgeable professional in the field of healthcare and research.

Cindy Trytten obtained their MSc in Physiology (molecular endocrinology) from the University of Manitoba from 1986 to 1988. Prior to that, they completed their BSc in Physiology (maj) and Biochemistry (min) from the same institution from 1982 to 1986. In 2017, they obtained a certification as a Certified Health Executive (CHE) from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
