Lauren Sabine

Lauren Sabine has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lauren began their career at Advantage West Midlands as a Project and Contract Officer, where they managed multiple concurrent projects and built relationships with stakeholders. Lauren then worked at the NHS as a Contract Officer, auditing service level agreements and supporting the negotiation of new agreements. Lauren also worked at the Angela Mortimer Group as a Marketing and Contracts Executive, where they conducted research, developed training programs, and managed marketing materials. Lauren later joined the Oceanside Community Arts Council as a Director, securing funding and increasing the organization's profile. Lauren then joined Statistics Canada as a Field Operations Supervisor, achieving high response rates and managing a large team. Lauren moved to Island Health as a Medical Staff Governance Coordinator and later took on roles as a Project Manager and Director. Prior to their current position as Director, Strategy, Partnerships, and Engagement at Island Health, Lauren worked at the First Nations Health Authority as a Regional Project Developer, overseeing project funding and progress. Overall, Lauren has demonstrated strong project management, leadership, and relationship-building skills throughout their career.

Lauren Sabine earned an HND in Design and Applied Arts (Ceramics) from the University of the Arts London from 2006 to 2008. In 2012, they completed a course in Medical Terminology at Vancouver Island University. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2006, they completed a BTEC Diploma in Design and Applied Arts at Sutton Coldfield College.
