Jim Herron

Jim Herron is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading and innovating within the software industry. As Co-founder and CTO of Island Training Solutions since 1999, Jim has been instrumental in shaping the company's direction. Previously, Jim served as CTO at BCBS NC from 1999 to 2015, and held roles at Atria Software as a project leader in GUI and NE field specialist between 1990 and 1997. Jim’s career began at Wang, where Jim was a development project leader from 1976 to 1984. Jim holds an education degree from Northern Michigan University, earned between 1972 and 1978.
