Engineer in Training Co-op at SENTRY

Iker Zulbaran has work experience in various roles.

In 2018, they worked at the University of Prince Edward Island as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, where they supervised first-year engineering students' projects, assisted with design and technical documentation, and ensured safety practices in building shops. Iker also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, conducting research on finding a sustainable alternative for the binding agent in Hempcrete mix, designing a device used in dogs' Cruciate Ligament surgery research, and assisting faculty members with research on existing data and methods used for the veterinarian procedure "Total Hip Replacement."

In 2019, Iker worked as a Commercialization Intern at the UPEI Office of Commercialization, Industry, and Innovation.

In 2020, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Prince Edward Island and as an Engineer in Training Co-op at SENTRY.

Overall, Iker has gained experience in research, teaching, commercialization, and engineering during their work experience.

Iker Zulbaran began their education in 2016 at St. Francis Xavier University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in the field of engineering. Iker completed this program in 2017. Following that, from 2017 to 2022, they attended the University of Prince Edward Island for their Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Design Engineering. Currently, since 2022, Iker is continuing their education at the University of Prince Edward Island, pursuing a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Design Engineering.
