Michael Maltsev has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Michael began their career in 2014 as a Developer and Researcher at Reason Cybersecurity. In 2016, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In 2020, they joined ZecOps as a Security Researcher, where they researched vulnerabilities in Windows via crashes and patch diffs, and discovered the SMBGhost Windows kernel SMB bug (CVE-2020-0796) and the SMBleed bug (CVE-2020-1206). Michael is currently employed as a Software Developer at Island.
Michael Maltsev received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2018.
