Ali El-Shayeb is an experienced technology and product leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Islands since August 2022, while also founding Frameflow and Timecapsule in 2024. Ali holds membership at Hampton and served as Chief Technology Officer at DIG Labs from March 2023 to April 2024. Previously, Ali advised nugget.ai and led product and engineering teams as Vice President after its acquisition by Planet Corp. Ali co-founded the AI Hub at Durham College and participated as Vice Chair of its Technical Advisory Committee. Early career includes roles at Upwork as a Senior Software Developer and at RBC Ventures as Product Lead for the arrivein.ca initiative.
