Eleonora Paissoni

Eleonora Paissoni is an Environmental Technology Consultant at Isle Utilities, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Eleonora served as a Researcher Ph.D. Candidate at Cranfield University from June 2019 to August 2022, focusing on pilot-scale studies on solids management in UASB reactors as part of the EU H2020 NextGen project. Eleonora conducted research at the National Research Facility for Water and Wastewater Treatment and operated a demonstration-scale AnMBR at the Severn Trent Resource Recovery and Innovation Centre. Eleonora is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Water at Cranfield University, with expected completion in 2024, and holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
