Ellie Hudson-Heck

Ellie Hudson-Heck, Ph.D., currently serves as the TAG Client Manager for the Midwest and Southeast regions at Isle Utilities, a leader in promoting innovation within the water sector through the identification and evaluation of technical solutions. Prior experience includes working as a Conservation Assistant at the Idaho Conservation League, focusing on water and air quality policy and regulatory issues, and serving as an Engagement Intern for the Emerging Leaders for Idaho's Environment Program. As a doctoral student at the University of South Florida, Ellie conducted significant research on seawater and freshwater carbon systems, developed advanced analytical techniques, and led field surveys on water quality. Additional roles include mentoring undergraduate students in scientific writing and teaching English as a second language. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the University of South Florida, a Master's certificate in science communication from the University of Idaho, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from The College of Wooster.
