Ian Butler is an accomplished professional in asset management consulting with extensive experience across various organizations in the water and utilities sector. Currently serving as the Head of Asset Management Consulting at Isle Utilities since November 2021, Ian has previously held key positions such as Technical Director at Black & Veatch and Principal Consultant at PA Consulting Group. Ian's career includes significant roles at UK Power Networks, where responsibilities encompassed Distribution Strategy Manager and Asset Condition & Risk Manager. Earlier, Ian worked at Southern Water as an Asset Plan Manager and held engineering positions at Halcrow Water and Monson Engineering. Ian Butler holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Resource Development International and has educational foundations from the University of Bath and the University of Brighton.
