Mandhy Senewiratne

Mandhy Senewiratne is a seasoned sustainability expert with extensive experience in the water and utility sectors. Currently serving as a Sustainability Champion at Melbourne Water and a facilitator and assessor at Isle Utilities, Mandhy specializes in sustainability strategies and stakeholder engagement. As Director of Sustainability, Communication, and Change Management at FYREFLY GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY LIMITED, Mandhy develops sustainability strategies and advises the Sri Lankan government on SDGs and carbon initiatives. With previous roles as Principal Carbon and Sustainability Consultant at CMP Consulting Group Pty Ltd and Lead Sustainability Regulations Consultant at MWH Global, Mandhy has played a critical role in implementing sustainable practices across various projects, including significant carbon reduction initiatives. Additionally, Mandhy contributes as a facilitator and trainer at the Institute of Water and has a strong foundation in environmental engineering, bolstered by an honours degree in Environmental Engineering from RMIT University.
