Eirini Margetousaki

Eirini (Irene) Margetousaki is an experienced professional currently serving as Deputy Congress Director and Communications and Engagement Officer at ISOCARP - International Society of City and Regional Planners since May 2022. Previously, Eirini was involved in the organization of the 57th ISOCARP World Planning Congress in Doha and held a role in the ISOCARP Secretariat. Eirini has also served as MA Representative for the ISS Institute Council, focusing on student welfare during the Covid lockdown, and worked as an Assistant Researcher at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, contributing to research on Economic Development. Additional experience includes conference coordination, political communications, and engagement in various academic and volunteer roles. Eirini's educational background features a Master's degree in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies, complemented by studies in International Political Economy and participation in numerous international programs and seminars.
