Claudia Fernandes

Claudia Fernandes has extensive experience in biotechnology and research, currently serving as Alliances Manager at Isogenica Limited since January 2019, following roles as Research Scientist II, Research Scientist, and Research Associate at the same organization. Claudia participated in the MIT-Portugal PhD Programme from January 2015 to December 2018, focusing on phage display, biomaterials synthesis, and drug delivery. Internship experiences include positions at Biotecnol, Inc. and the Biomaterials and Stem Cell-Based Therapeutics Laboratory, where skills in cell culture and biomaterial processing were developed. Earlier, Claudia worked as a Research Assistant in the Biomolecular Engineering Group@REQUIMTE, contributing to various research methodologies, and interned at Centro Investigação Genética Humana Pólo 1, where gold nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized. Claudia Fernandes holds an MSc in Biotechnology and a BSc in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
