Annette Reilly

Vice Chair, US Tag; WG 2 Secretary, WG 22 Convenor at ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC7 Software and Systems Engineering

Annette Reilly has extensive experience in standards development and technical communication, with a current role as the IEEE-CS Representative to ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC7 and JWG 16, focusing on systems and software engineering standards. Reilly has served as Vice Chair of the US TAG and held roles as WG 2 secretary and WG 22 Convenor for ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC7 since 2013. Additionally, Reilly has been an active member of STC WDC-B since 1978, taking on the role of treasurer in 2014. In leadership positions within the IEEE Computer Society, Reilly served as VP for Standards and Chair of the Standards Activity Board from 2022 to 2023, and as a member of the IEEE Standards Association Standards Board from 2021 to 2023. Previous experience includes a proposal developer role at Lockheed Martin from 1983 to 2014 and participation in the Standards Council of the Society for Technical Communication from 1979 to 2013. Reilly holds a degree from Rice University.

ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC7 Software and Systems Engineering

ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC7 is the Subcommittee responsible for the development of software and systems engineering standards in the Joint Technical Committee 1 of ISO and IEC. JTC 1/SC7 has the following mandate, or terms of reference, from ISO and IEC: Standardization of processes, supporting tools and supporting technologies for the engineering of software products and systems.
