Kimberly Anderson has worked in various roles in the field of research and development since 2003. Kimberly began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology in 2003. Kimberly then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institute from 2010 to 2010. From 2010 to 2020, they worked at Algenol, first as a Scientist, then as a Senior Scientist, Associate Director of Molecular Biology, and finally as Director of Molecular Biology. During this time, they developed and tested new products from algae through a process development program and authored several technical reports. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Biomason as Vice President of Research and Development and Director of Commercial R&D. Kimberly is currently employed at Isolere Bio as Director of Commercial R&D.
Kimberly Anderson has a long educational history. Kimberly earned their PhD in Marine Estuarine Environmental Sciences - Environmental Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Maryland in 2009. Prior to that, they earned their MS in Biology-Environmental Microbiology from the University of South Florida in 2003. Kimberly also earned their BS in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 2001.
