Saurabh Mehta, Ph.D.

Saurabh Mehta, Ph.D. has held a variety of roles in the field of research science. In 2011, they began as a Summer Student at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). In 2012, they became a Doctoral Student at Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER), Bhopal. In 2020, they held two Postdoctoral Research Scientist roles, one at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and one at The University of Texas at Dallas. Most recently, in 2022, they began as a Research Scientist-Protein at Isolere Bio.

Saurabh Mehta, Ph.D. completed their high school diploma from TATA high school Bilimora in 2007, followed by a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Saurashtra University, Rajkot in 2010. Saurabh then went on to obtain an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya in 2012. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from IISER Bhopal in 2019.
