Shameer Subratty

Shameer Subratty has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. In that time, they have worked for Prod Ltd as a Product Design Intern, DePuy Synthes as a Product Design Engineer, Puridify as a Design Engineer, GE Healthcare as a Senior Design Engineer - Team Leader, and Cytiva as Global Product Manager - Fibro Platform and Director, Product Strategy. At Prod Ltd, they worked on a variety of projects ranging from collapsible furniture to awards and trophies. At DePuy Synthes, they developed innovative surgical tools for hip replacement surgery. At Puridify, they were responsible for the design and engineering aspects of the product from early-stage concepts through to fully-functional prototypes and pre-commercial products. At GE Healthcare, they were the Lead System Designer for two concurrent NPI projects. At Cytiva, they developed and owned the strategic roadmap of the Fibro Platform, and was responsible for product specifications, long term forecasts, production capacity, NPI pipeline prioritization, security of supply, manufacturing strategy, CAPEX planning, innovation research projects, and scientific collaborations. Shameer is currently employed at Isolere Bio as Director, Product Strategy.

Shameer Subratty attended Alexandra Park School from 2003 to 2010, where they obtained GCSE & A-Level qualifications. Shameer then went on to study Design and Innovation at Queen Mary University of London and Goldsmiths, University of London, where they received a Master of Engineering (MEng) in 2015.
