Badr Al-Rumaih is a co-founder and head of quant at Isometry Capital, a position held since 2020. Previously, Badr was a graduate research assistant at Stanford University's Wave Physics Lab from 2012 to 2019. Badr served as the chair of the organizing committee for the Young Professionals Technical Symposium with the Society of Petroleum Engineers in 2012 and worked as a geophysicist at aramco's EXPEC Advanced Research Center and Exploration Organization between 2010 and 2012. Badr also interned at OPEC in 2010. Badr holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master's Degree in Geophysics from Stanford University, an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics from the University of Leeds.
