William McCorkindale

William McCorkindale is a Senior Scientist at CHARM Therapeutics, contributing to drug discovery research since June 2023. Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Cambridge, with a focus on enhancing drug discovery processes through machine learning, William's thesis explores ML applications in synthesis planning and virtual screening. Previous experience includes a Research Scientist Internship at DeepMind, working on AlphaFold, and a series of research roles at prestigious institutions such as Caltech and the Max Planck Institute, where William investigated molecular properties and particle dynamics. William holds an MSci in Physics from St. John's College, Cambridge, and a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
