Ramesh Awtaney

Ramesh Awtaney is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader, currently serving as the Founder and Chairman of ISON Group Africa since December 2010. Under Ramesh's leadership, ISON has become a prominent pan-African IT and ITeS company, operating in 25 countries with a workforce exceeding 10,000 employees, focusing on sectors such as Telecom, BFSI, Government, Retail, Oil & Gas, and Aviation. Ramesh also holds the position of Managing Director at Zamil Infra Pvt. Ltd. since February 2009 and has previously held senior roles including Vice President and General Manager for IBM GTS's Asia Pacific Communications Sector and CEO of Jain Networks. Ramesh commenced the career at Ericsson India in various leadership capacities. Ramesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from MBM Engineering College, completed in 1988.
