Kelly Lovelace

Kelly Lovelace, Ph.D., serves as the Dean of Teaching and Learning Support at Isothermal Community College since August 1996, where also held roles as Director of the Academic Development Department and Instructor and Writing Center Coordinator. Kelly has taught multiple courses including Integrated Reading and Writing, First-Year Composition, and Instructional Strategies in Reading and Writing, employing both web-assisted and traditional formats. Additionally, Kelly was an Adjunct Instructor at Gardner-Webb University from August 2015 to December 2023, teaching courses in Critical Literacy and American Literature. Experience also includes a position as a rater for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress through Educational Testing Service from March 2015 to May 2016. Educational achievements consist of a PhD in Education with a specialization in Leadership for Higher Education from Capella University, an MA in English Education from Gardner-Webb University, and a BS in Education from Kansas State University.
