Customer Reliability Engineer at Isovalent

Clayton Moss has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Clayton began their career as a Network Engineer Co-op at Cisco in June 2017 and transitioned to a Technical Consulting Engineer role in July 2018. After their time at Cisco, Clayton joined Mirantis in September 2020 as an L2 Software Support Engineer and later advanced to become an L3 Software Support Engineer. In April 2023, Clayton started working at Isovalent as a Customer Reliability Engineer. Outside of their corporate roles, they also pursued investment opportunities starting in January 2016.

Clayton Moss has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of North Texas, which they obtained from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology - Network Support from Tarrant County College, from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Clayton has obtained several certifications. Clayton is a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), both achieved in January 2023 and January 2020, respectively. Clayton is also a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from The Linux Foundation, received in May 2022, and a Docker Certified Associate (DCA) from Docker, Inc, received in November 2020. Moreover, Clayton holds certifications in Understanding of Cisco Network Devices, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA), and Cisco Certified Network Associate Cloud (CCNA-Cloud), all earned in 2020 and 2018.

Furthermore, Clayton has obtained several additional certifications from institutions such as Isovalent, Tigera, and Codecademy. These include certifications in Golden Signals with Hubble and Grafana, Learn Go Course, Advanced Gateway API Use Cases, Cilium Cluster Mesh, Cilium Gateway API, Cilium Getting Started, Cilium IPv6 Networking and Observability, Cilium LoadBalancer IPAM and BGP Service Advertisement, Cilium Network Policies, Cilium Service Mesh, and Cilium Zero Trust Visibility, all received in 2023.
