Colin O'Mara

Colin O'Mara is a proficient Propulsion Test Engineer at ispace, inc. since August 2022, with prior experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Adranos, Inc., where significant contributions included preparing and conducting static test fires for rocket motors and designing an autonomous Crawford burner. Additional experience includes serving as a Capstone Consultant for Southwire Company, where Colin conducted market research and designed a unique 5G tower surge protector, and a Corporate Engineering Intern at Caterpillar Inc., focusing on hydraulic systems and developing a universal Python package that significantly improved code efficiency. Colin's foundational experience began at HELVA PTE LTD as a Research and Development Engineer Intern, contributing to the food wall project through system design and simulation. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a minor in Engineering & Business from the Denning Technology & Management Program.
