Maria Knox

Maria joins ISPH as our Performing Arts teacher. Maria obtained her degree in Drama at Liverpool John Moores University where she majored in performance and stage management. In 2015 Maria then trained to be a teacher at The University of Chester.

Maria has performed as an actor on stage and TV as well as being a member of a touring vocal group and recording demo tracks for upcoming artists.

During her teaching career, Maria has led many full school musical productions including Fame, Les Miserables and Into the Woods. In recent years, Maria has worked as a pastoral leader and has looked after students’ academic progress and wellbeing.

In her own time, Maria enjoys traveling and exploring new places with her family.
