Matthew de Leeuw

Matthew is a passionate teacher of science from New Zealand. He completed a Masters of Science degree at the University of Auckland with a thesis focusing on immunotherapy for the treatment of cancer. With his knowledge and expertise in science, he is sure to provide students with a solid foundation in the subject.

Matthew believes in building positive relationships with students and parents to ensure a positive and conducive learning environment. He understands the importance of developing a rapport with his students to help them achieve their full potential.

This is Matthew’s first international posting, and he is thrilled to be a part of the ISPH community. He is eager to work with the staff and students and immerse himself in the vibrant culture Vietnam has to offer.

When he is not teaching, Matthew loves to explore the outdoors. He is an avid hiker and likes to spend his free time traveling, fishing, and diving.
